Description
Ridhi Vridhi Seeds is a tuberous rooted, monopodium terrestrial orchid found at an elevation of 1500-2800 meter in Western Himalaya. Stem is terete, 25-50 cm long, bears four to many leaves; leaves are rounded at the base, long and acuminate. Ridhi Vridhi Seeds is significant constituent of Ayurvedic pharmacy. The compound formulation and its ingredients alone have various medicinal effects.
Based on the properties described in ancient texts, Ridhi Vridhi Seeds seems to have antioxidant and anti ageing effects. Before pharmacological investigations can be further initiated it is important to conduct botanical and phytochemical investigations.
